David Chaney's Background:
David Chaney graduated with a degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. He worked in middle market accounting firms performing tax, audit and due diligence services for clients with annual revenues ranging from $50 thousand to $250 million. He then worked with a Houston based multinational transportation company as an accounting manager. His responsibilities included internal financial reporting for 90 subsidiaries with $1 billion in annual revenue, preparing due diligence reports for potential acquisitions, and acting as external audit liaison. The Liu Idea Lab is in the new Cambridge Building, which is behind the Allen Center and across from Lovett Hall. We suggest you enter Rice University through entrance #3 off of Main Street, onto Cambridge. The building is the first building on your right. Take a right at the first stop sign (as soon as you turn into campus), and follow the road around to the parking garage. The Liu Idea Lab is on the first floor in the building attached to the garage. Go through the lobby and we are at the back of the building.
